Nanook
Built in Denmark in 1968 for North Sea traffic control duties, M/S Nanook is being converted into an explorer yacht for twelve guests.
History
M/S Nanook was built at Frederikshavn Værft & Tørdok A/S in Denmark in 1968 for traffic control missions in the North Sea. She was formerly also known as NOPE, H, NORDSON and NORDSOEN GUARD VSL.
She is currently being refitted and converted into an explorer yacht in Gdańsk, Poland, and will then proceed to Svalbard and Greenland.
The ship is still under reconstruction. The images below show the planned interiors: cabins, lounge and restaurant as they are designed for her new life as an explorer yacht.
