For the first time, a nostalgic coastal voyage begins in Bremerhaven. Embarkation is until 16:30 at the Cruise Center, with a shuttle to the ship, and MS Nordstjernen departs at 18:00.

A day at sea to relax and get acquainted with the ship before reaching the Solent the following morning.

The sheltered port city of Portsmouth has been the Royal Navy's most important base since 1194. The historic dockyard holds HMS Victory, Nelson's flagship, and HMS Warrior, the first steam-powered ironclad. In port 08:00–18:00, with city sightseeing, the old town and the historic Navy Yard.

Sailing along the Jurassic Coast, we arrive in Falmouth, said to have one of the finest natural harbours in the world, with Pendennis Castle on the headland. Arrival 09:00; a city walk takes in the castle and the Maritime Museum.

A second day to enjoy this picturesque corner of Cornwall, with a bus tour to the Lizard peninsula and Trebah Garden. Departure 21:00.

An archipelago 25 nautical miles west of Land's End, protected for its outstanding natural beauty. The ship anchors and guests are tendered ashore, weather permitting, for Tresco Abbey Gardens and a boat excursion from St Mary's. In port 08:00–18:00.

The only Welsh port of the voyage, with breathtaking coastal scenery and the warm hospitality of some 3,000 inhabitants. In port 09:00–17:00, with a bus tour of the Pembrokeshire National Park and a hike.

Large tidal ranges mean the ship is guided through the locks to her berth. Bristol offers maritime history, industrial architecture and the works of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, including the SS Great Britain. In port 08:30–18:30.

The ship anchors in the Bristol Channel, weather permitting. A natural paradise of wildlife, beaches and the Marisco Tavern, Lundy's only pub. In port 08:00–18:00.

England's southernmost and westernmost town, 15 km from Land's End, with Cornwall's only Victorian promenade and the Jubilee Pool. Nearby lies the tidal island of St Michael's Mount. In port 08:00–18:00, at anchor.

The ship anchors in the middle of the River Dart. In 1620 the Mayflower and Speedwell put in here for repairs; above the town stands the Britannia Royal Naval College. In port 09:00–19:00, with Dartmoor, the steam train, paddle steamer and Dartmouth Castle.

Home to international regattas since the Royal Yacht Squadron was founded in 1815, and to Queen Victoria's summer residence at Osborne House. In port 08:00–17:00, with an island tour to the Needles, Newport and Mottistone Gardens.

A last day at sea as the ship sets course for Bremerhaven.

Arrival 11:00, disembarkation and bus transfer to the station. At the islands the ship lies at anchor and guests are taken ashore by the Polar Circle boats; all calls are wind and weather dependent.
